A special one day celebration of St Colmcille and the historic cultural and spiritual links between Gaelic Ireland and Gaelic Scotland will be held at Dublin's Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday September 29th 2007.

This event will feature lectures on topics linked to Saint Colmcille (Columba), such as folklore, art, and law. Lecturers include folklorist Padraigín Clancy, art historian Nicola Gordon Bowe, E. Mairi MacArthur, an authority on Iona; and Ronan Sheehan, a legal expert.
