As part of the CMSI mpower mission consultation (which climaxed with a two day conference in the Armagh City Hotel on the 21st and 22nd April), the Church of Ireland Theological College played host to guests from two African Theological Institutions.

The Revd Dr Oliver Duku is Principal of Bishop Allison Theological College, a Sudanese Clergy Training Centre based in Uganda. He is pictured with a group of ordinands and their lecturer in Greek, Rev Dr Alan McCormack (who is chaplain of Trinity College). The Revd Dr McCormack hosted Dr Duku and some students for dinner.

The Revd Professor Stephen Noll, vice-chancellor of Uganda Christian University with his wife Peggy, and He and his wife, Peggy, pictured with a number of students at the Theological College after being presented with a copy of the 'Book of Common Prayer'.The Revd Professor Stephen Noll is Vice-Chancellor of Uganda Christian University, formerly Bishop Tucker Theological College, in Uganda. He and his wife, Peggy, are pictured with a number of students after having been presented with a copy of the Book of Common Prayer.

By visiting CITC, the overseas partners were able to discuss possible links between the College and both Institutions in Africa. Most overseas delegates were hosted in Parishes, but this was seen as an ideal opportunity to put together like with like in what proved to be a tailor-made hosting situation.

Adrian Dorrian is a 2nd Year student at CITC and the CMSI Representative at the College.
